Drinks Cabinet – Ladies

These were apparently known as Ladies Drinks Cabinets, dating back to 1920 -1949.It makes me feel like I ought to say, “bring out the Gin or Chardonnay.”

This is so much more than just a perfect drinks cabinet. It is a piece of art. The detail in the legs is magnificent. Repainted in rich burlap with detailed antiquing and a French scroll key escutcheon I love the beautiful carving detail in this one. It is oh so very elegant. It has a glass shelf on top, ideal for when you serve drinks, and the inside is in perfect condition. Of course, I think it is a “must-have”, I hope you love it too. When I first saw the fully restored finished item, I got a lump in my throat, it is truly beautiful.
